Increasing sales by 217%
The 4th quarter is the biggest time of the year for many businesses, including for Winterstar Art.
Over Black Friday weekend, I created a marketing campaign utilizing social media, email marketing, and SEO to sell over $4k worth of illustrated merch in 4 days over Black Friday weekend in 2025, raising sales by over 200% compared to the same weekend in 2024.
The Marketing Stats
Since Black Friday is such a busy sales time, paid social ads are likely to get lost in all the noise, and the last thing customers want is another advertisement. Because of that, for the majority of my posts leading up to Black Friday, they focused on the art, the community, and the culture, with only a slight mention of Black Friday merch drops and sales.
Because of this, when Black Friday finally arrived, customers were already eagerly awaiting the sale, and sales went very well as a result, both during and after Black Friday weekend.
Email marketing was also utilized, with a successful open and CTR that led to even more sales.
